The 1/4" adapter has the same reach as the 3/8" adapter yet is quite a bit smaller. Great quality. Don't need it everyday, but when you do it'll pay for itself with time saved.

Holds the bit firm

This chuck adapter works like it should. It held my step drill just fine for drilling in an awkward area
